The historical city of Prague will surprise you with the number of clubs that you can visit to party and have fun until the break of dawn. Do not be mislead by the classical Roman inspired ambiance of this town because their clubs have got the real modern day scene going on!
One of the best clubs to hang out with your friends is the Duplex Club & Café in the middle of Wenceslas Square. A club that is open in the morning when you can have a classic breakfast and coffee while the nighttime is for you to wine, dine and party with their great music raving all over the place as the DJ mixes some amazing tunes.
This club has a terrace where you have a great view of the city with its lights and all its beauty. This is not an ordinary terrace because special events have been held here including Mick Jagger from the band Rolling Stone who hired this place for his 6oth birthday!
Contrary to popular belief that The Duplex is only for celebrities and it’s very exclusive, this club actually welcomes almost everybody. But I have to warn you with the prices of their products because they are a bit pricey as expected since they have that kind of image.
Now cellar bars are popular in Prague but one of the most visited and popular ones is the Double Trouble Bar and Club. You might have a hard time finding it but I can guarantee you that it’s all worth the search once you entered and started partying!
You can buy drinks that are not as expensive as the Duplex but their not cheap either so again my advice is to bring some extra money just to be sure that you’ll be able to make it through the night. The dancing here is something you shouldn’t miss as well. You’ll witness people loosing control and enjoying the music on top of their seats and tables! You can be yourself here and nobody would care as long as you’re having fun!
If you still are looking for more hip dance clubs, then you must check out the Roxy, which is located near the Old Town Square. If you don’t plan to go easy on the drinks, then this is the best club for you because their drinks are much cheaper.
You don’t need to worry about the feeling of being overcrowded on the dance floor because their interior is known for its wide spaces. The lights coordinating to the dj’s music is definitely enthralling that it would be impossible for you not to dance. They play hardcore beats with famous DJs like Luke Slater! It’s definitely a club worth visiting!
And finally, a club that is literally impossible to miss because of its really big sign – Rocky O’Reilly’s! This club started back in 2001 so it’s pretty new but the way it attracts the locals and the tourists in this town is so fast that it’s already making its way to be one of the classic bars that you must visit while you’re in Prague.
It is jam-packed most of the time especially in the afternoon and once the nightlife starts. Their servers can definitely understand English so there wouldn’t be a problem when it comes to communication and if you love sports then you are in luck as they show most big football and rugby matches.
Prague is not just about historical places and remnants of the past. It definitely knows how to celebrate modern society and the culture this new generation is contributing to their location.
Meet people from different walks of life as you not just party but actually learn while conversing and exchanging experiences about your culture, lifestyle and even beliefs. It’s always great to meet people on the road. Make sure you visit the clubs when you are in Prague.
